Al and crummy sequels has me off the 31in31 horror movie challenge this year. Instead I am trying to read 31 pages of horror a day for Oct (I'm averging higher but 31in31 sounds good). So far I've read @tkingfisher.com M Kliewer and my fav horror author @stephengrahamjones.com
I just watched Fahrenheit 451 in my local public library. The room was surrounded by shelves of books and it felt slightly subversive. I walked home and a helicopter was hovering overhead. It is still there.

When I worked with PCS back then (side gig), my superpower was — unlike most comics bloggers — I had zero interest in working in the industry. I was just a revitalized fan who ended up finding a community I clicked with. It helped me avoid so many hassles, and when my passion eventually faded, I just moved on because I could. Randomly ending up in the industry (kinda) years later was totally unexpected, and it definitely made things harder at times. I don't regret it, but I'm glad to move on.

Might stay up late to work on writing I wrote kinda a vent poem already because I was thinking about my online best friend again I had but we grew apart after getting married and it left me feeling lost but writing and reading books has made me feel better a lot. Friendship breakups sucks
