Wildroot

Desktop 2.44.6 · Android 0.3.0

Download Wildroot.

Free. No account. Desktop installers are 250–330 MB because a browser engine is bundled; the Android build is 3 MB because it uses the one already on your phone.

Check what you downloaded. Every file's SHA-256 is published at SHA256SUMS. On Windows run certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256; on Linux run sha256sum <file> and compare.

Android is a browser, and only a browser

The Android build opens names. It cannot claim a name, publish a page, or run the mailbox and social accounts described elsewhere on this site — those are desktop-only today. If you came here for the setup, install the Windows or Linux build.

Two things you'll hit on install

Windows will warn you. The installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen shows a blue "unrecognised app" screen. Choose More info → Run anyway. Verify the SHA-256 above first if you'd rather not take our word for it.

There is no macOS build. Not "coming soon" — it isn't built.

The file is still called HNS.ONE Browser, and so is the app once installed. Wildroot is the same program; the rename ships as its own release so that already-published checksums stay valid.

No automatic updates

Wildroot doesn't update itself. When there's a new version you come back here and install it over the top; your name, keys and settings are kept. We'd rather ship an updater we're confident in than one that can push code to your machine quietly.
