A proper mixed transport day! 🚆⛴️🚋 Merseyrail into Liverpool, then the new Mersey Ferry, Royal Daffodil, across the river. From there, it was onto a TransPennine Express train to Manchester. Once in the city, I jumped on a couple of the electric buses for a ride around the city centre. Then it was time for a tram before heading back to Liverpool, again with TPE. Trains, ferry, buses and a tram. Hard to beat. #dayout

Today in the greenhouse... another gem, Lithops geyeri, from a small area in the eastern Richtersveld in South Africa, growing in quartzite. Described as normally being in shades of grey, buff or beige but mine is this lovely green. Bought in 2012 as a small plant and doing really well. #Succulents #Lithops #BloomScrolling
