How it works

  1. @yaboij0shua.bsky.social

Love when companies say "there are no right or wrong answers!" for their assessments that applicants have to do, when if you answer wrong you won't be selected for an interview lol.

  2. Private equity regards you as a revenue stream, not a customer. Keep paying until your service provider expires from its debt load. Look for another service provider, and then watch that die as you continue to feed the rapacious appetite of private equity.

  3. Does anyone have insight on how salary bands work? I’m looking at some jobs and the graveyard shift supervisor position pays less than first and second shift, and that’s inverted from everything below supervisor, where pay increases the more inconvenient the shift is.

  11. Indeed still send me job recommendations a handful of times a week... The number of places needing a logistics coordinator is crazy. Sad part is that most places pay less than where I currently am as an ops lead. Logistics is harder than people think and always underpaid & undervalued.

  15. People who are financially highly secure should keep these condescending "advice" to themselves. Many of us have been through enough downturns we've seen things the well-off ones wouldn't believe. In any case as John Maynard Keynes famously quipped, in the long run we are all dead.

  17. I’m not the savviest businessperson, so maybe I just don’t understand how Skydance gets to operate as a normal business when it starts out $80 billion in debt when one time, I accidentally overdrew by $10, and my bank hounded me and kept adding on overdraft fees
