It's hard to explain cause these are such nebulous terms, but it's very important for me that an art piece feels "animated" particularly the figures, and everything reinforcing that. To the point that even if the lineart fulfills that, the painting could take away from it.
It's interesting how much the flow of YCH week has changed It used to be that people would start at SB and slowly inch up over the course of a dozen or so bids Now people jump right to the top tier on day one sometimes. The lack of comments/views makes it feel like it's doing badly, but it's not!
Does anyone have any tips on how to make traced line art out of a BUNCH of video frames without an iPad and stylus?
It's funny seeing a ship I like become pretty popular this year but like at least 60% of the art I see of it is extremely out of character but I still just appreciate the energy and love seeing folks just have fun so it doesn't really bother much. I just also don't feel well fed on the ship lol
I don't understand why so many furry artists I know want to jump onto this trend, you never drawn humans before but when this IP is trending you want to draw humans now??
