I was doing my morning back stretches and he brought me a toy from elsewhere in the house as he often does. But he always leaves it just outside the room (it’s just out of shot) and miaows there so you have to get up and go look 🙄 Well, normally - in this case I leaned around and he could see me so he caved and came to me instead 😸

Last night we had a very large wild cat (Mountain Lion I believe) visit our backyard pond. This is no small puddy tat. My cat Pica is feeling better. IDK if she's out of the woods but she has been purring, eating her meat brick (she loves the meat brick) and she took her new higher dose of meds. Thank you to everyone who had kind thoughts for her earlier today. I was really stressed out and worried and it helped.

A peaceful walk with my dog today went around three lakes; one feeding down into the next, nobody about just me and my dog, the soft crunching of my boots and her paws on the ground, the calls of birds and ducks echoing throughout. Truly peaceful.
