I didn't have "replace charging connector on your laptop" on my todo list today, but here we are. It's not even #MaintenanceMonday! Not the prettiest fix, but was using the only socket I had to hand, and it'll do until I can source one the right size. Laptop is back charging nicely.

I've been meaning to add a cardio day to my routine, and yesterday (tuesday) I finally did it. So, I'm devastated to report that, seemingly as a consequence, I slept better than usual, have more energy, and I seem to have fully recovered from quads day (monday) faster than usual. Bodies continue to be ridiculous, and make no damn sense.

I really need to get better at writing shorter stories. I used to be able to, but lately my ideas always seem to spiral, and I end up spending more time on them than I planned. By shorter, I mean 3 - 4k words, as opposed to the 6 - 8k I end up with

I played an unhealthy amount of CK3 today because my off-ramp (character death) got circumvented. Started playing as the heir and was about to be done for the day when I got an event about my (slightly) older sister who was, of course, passed over for all title redistribution.
We made it from Keystone, CO to Orderville, UT for the next few days. The drive through Utah was spectacular with way more variation in landscape than I anticipated.

OK, my doctor read me for *filth* today and immediately asked if I'd ever been diagnosed with autism. I have no fucking clue how to think about that, (I mean, yes, I probably am autistic, but there's a reason I can joke about "trans, autistic or Polish?" being a valid question to ask in many social situations)
I'm starting to think that people can tell that I'm trans because people have been treating me weirder and weirder lately lol Employees at stores hovering behind me as I pay, weird looks, intentionally shutting elevator doors on me so I have to wait for the next one... and it's all been women 🫤

I'm fortunate that there isn't really anyone close to me who isn't supportive of creativity in general and my writing as an expression of mine. My wife, obviously, does the most to keep me sane and likes my stupid stories. Maybe she sees me in them, or we have enough in common that what I think would make a good story idea appeals to her too.
