It’s sold out now, but managed to get tickets for Bryan Adams’ album preview show in Leeds next weekend, which will be a phones-free one. I’m actually looking forward to seeing a gig like the old days without a load of screens held up! crashrecords.co.uk/collections…

some notes on performing at October AlgoRhythms: - is the event like a bright star - slowly shrinking but becoming more brilliant as it does so? - white dwarf future or supernova? - I had in mind a list of three tracks that I had previously written, a couple in last week, one from august - I couldn't find one of them, but eventually did - great dancing by the audience, that was a real buzz - in my code-jay-ing comfort zone, making use of midi controller to add variation - this breaks my streak of about three from-scratch solo performances - i'm not sure if i'll ever be able to code fast, I don't come up with ideas the same way under pressure, can't think straight on stage mostly - didn't look up enough despite telling Chau that I was intending to shortly before starting - played the last track backwards somehow hehe but it was all good - was fun to perform with Chau on vis as always : )
This morning I was having a dream where I couldn't remember the name of the band that sang that song "Fly" back in the 90s. Then I woke up, and resumed what I was doing in the dream (which I think is a first? Oh wait, peeing dreams). Anyway, I finally remembered. musiccloud.io/6gbEN_wZ #AMSongInMyHead #Music #SugarRay
For someone that doesn't work downtown anymore, I've spent a lot of time down here this week...3rd night in a row!
A friend in London *may* be performing one/some of my pieces in a fair coming up. It's been a long time since I looked at my own catalog of works and I definitely do not remember writing 7 piano pieces in the last decade!! I had a pleasant time down memory lane, listening to these works of mine. There's a strange feeling of detached pride.
The high school band playing at our nonprofit fundraiser are playing Harvey Danger, Green Day, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and so many other bands from my formative years. It’s really weird to suddenly have my nostalgic music used to emotionally manipulate me. It’s working.
Waiting for the last train to the morning - sleeping car booked all the way. Large and wild dreams to all. Elvis Presley Blue Moon Of Kentucky youtu.be/-nzCKFzQLFc
This afternoon I am listening to the best Massive Attack album. Because it has big ears the rabbit is listening too.
Thinking very specifically about how I wrote an Andrew Oikonny fanfic a long time ago as I listened to this like grungy futuristic album with a metal pipe skeleton on the cover and I cannot for the LIFE of me remember the artist or album name but it was a pure banger
Was told about a free 14 GB library for UVI today, so I thought I might as well grab it. Got some killer drums in it, and also this very beautiful piano that I just had to play. I should be in bed really, but you know... Download: lootaudio.com/category/plugins… NKS presets for Komplete Kontrol: freelancesoundlabs.com/product…
Today’s work soundtrack will be Pink Floyd. Yep. That’s what I’m going with today.
I saw Travis at Glastonbury in 1998 and it rained for their song about rain and that’s my Travis story.
I want to make a video about the human cast of Sesame Street, and as a little segment in the video I want to analyze the different actors vocal abilities/ranges. I find that kind of stuff fascinating, but also, I don't really know all that much about music
I've got a record player that I've had since 2014. Died my hair blue. Now its a sea sick sort of green. #DaisyTheGreat
