Pretty much all my bat ocs bite and can suck blood. Pumpkin Spice and Noir don't really do either except for romantic reasons at most. Nyx and Mona do it to recover strength, etc they know old rituals to make you a vampire of sorts but it's so boring and cumbersome now with countless requirements
I was thinking it might be fun to figure out a way to record me drawing and make a fake youtube series called "the joy of paint(1)ing" where I pleasantly explain what i'm doing and occasionally also say shit like "there's no such thing as a bad line, just lines you're going to draw over with better lines" and "they say art is hard, but you know what is also hard? cock.", but right now all i've got is "the losing half an hour of work of paint(1)ing"
I can't stress enough the importance of having WIPs and sketches just lying around 1, it's good for you mentally not to gear yourself towards always FINISHING something. Don't let perfection steal your joy and 2, every unfinished sketch is something you can come back to during art blocks

recently got to work on a very fun piece with lots of cool, sharp angles which, because of the way I did it, made me think the hardest I've ever thought about keeping track of angles and tangents to avoid drawing swastikas

Re-learning how to draw heads for the billionth time because applied skill retention is not in my brain's skillset. Feels like it doesn't to matter how much I practice, if I don't do something for a week suddenly I can't do it anymore lol
I'm going to try not to art myself to death for subscription dollars on the P-Site. Realistically, I'm going to aim for... •3-5 sketches a week •1-2 finished pieces a week •1 toy photoshoot or video every other week •WIPs if I've got 'em I can finish 2-4 things a weekend if I'm motivated...

To be honest, part of my designing process of designing a character is sometimes stepping away from the canvas and taking my time to process what I'd like create. It could take days,weeks or even a month. ( but I'm usually creating other things while doing that.)

It's funny seeing a ship I like become pretty popular this year but like at least 60% of the art I see of it is extremely out of character but I still just appreciate the energy and love seeing folks just have fun so it doesn't really bother much. I just also don't feel well fed on the ship lol
