How it works

  1. “We will burn their refineries.” It has been a tough couple of days for Ukraine, with dozens killed in Russian strikes, and Trump’s ‘stab in the back’ diesel deal with Putin. My latest weekly update. mickryan.substack.com/p/trumps-die...

Please, help us hold on to hope. My name is Ramadan. I am 75 years old, and my family of 14 in Gaza, including little children and a baby, is facing unimaginable hardship. We lost our home, our livelihood, and my beloved daughter. Now, we are struggling to survive in a small tent. We cannot face this crisis alone. We urgently need your donations for food, medicine, and shelter. chuffed.org/project/144463-a-l…

The brave people of Ukraine have the divine right to protect their homeland, people, freedom and sovereignty with every weapons and means available. The United States of America has no right to ask them to surrender or "spare the refineries" or breaching the sanctions they imposed a few weeks ago.

Regarding Trump's threats to cut off 'vital' intelligence delivery to UA, if they don't stop bombing RU fossil fuels infrastructure. Well, the flow of intelligence has also changed. UA is less dependent and the US intelligence flights near UA have reduced significantly since the Iran war start.

  8. Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Russian fuel amidst Putin’s ongoing and brutal attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine makes no sense and is a betrayal of the legacy and leadership of the late Senator Lindsey Graham.

Ukrainian prisoners of war and defectors have been gathered into a Russian battalion to face Ukrainian forces — why? And how?

In a new book excerpted in Israel's Haaretz newspaper, journalists Shlomi Eldar and Ruth Yuval contend that the United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed telephoned Netanyahu 10 days prior to the attack to warn of a potential significant move by the militant group against Israel.

Zelenskyy is a genius to do this before the Midterms. Maybe Russian bots won’t be as effective, as many voters are just now making their decisions on who to vote for soon.

It’s actually quite flattering to blame Ukraine for diesel. It's a liquid commodity whose price is determined by the GLOBAL supply and demand. Ukraine’s operations had to be extremely successful to cause even a small dent to that price. Please keep up the good work!

I’m hoping reporters push Darline Graham to state her position on Donald Trump’s actions easing Russian sanctions and trying to blame Ukraine for the war. This is NOT what her brother stood for. I mean, I know it’s hard to grasp international policy, but….. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/10/w...

  14. Until now the EU was the only serious financial supporter of Ukraine, but was expecting the US political leadership will help to bring peace to Ukraine. A time comes when the EU together with Ukraine needs to elaborate and implement an independent Peace Strategy.

  15. Russian bot traffic dropped after Ukrainian strikes on Yandex data centres. This affects the "X" and Facebook platforms which are weaponized for russian information warfare. This harms the influence campaigns fascist russia is running against the U.S. midterm elections and the Alberta referendum.

  18. So 1) yes, but 2) I think there is a danger here in assuming that 'authoritarian relapse' within the Status Quo Coalition is a USA-exclusive problem. *Most* coalition members have a major right-wing authoritarian party. Your defense policy should assume any one state could relapse at any time.

If you care about the wars in Iran and Palestine, or anywhere else in the Middle East, especially the children impacted by the wars, please go watch this movie. It takes a special angle and is one of the most astonishing anti-war movies I’ve seen.

Russia has been at war with Britain for years and the EU referendum was an open goal which they exploited. That doesn't mean that "Putin made Brexit happen" but his troll farms and media operations certainly played a part Brexiters may hate to hear it but to deny it is to deny a dangerous reality.

Knocking out Russian data centers will have positive by-effects because it will hamper the hybrid war efforts of Russia against EU. It would be good for EU and MS to consider this aspect when decisions are made on Ukraine funding packages.

Europe needs an independent defense industry. The US is leveraging its defense industry to undermine European national security interests. There is no going back, the US can’t be trusted.

What's a bit funny is that if Saudi Arabia had just spent their ungodly amounts of money on buying tons of FPV drones and paying people (doesn't even have to be Saudis) to operate them, they could probably neutralise any threat posed by the Houthis on the ground.
