Yes — the name, a page, a mailbox and the social accounts, with no card and no trial clock. We pay for the servers. If that ever has to change for some part of it, it will be said here before anyone is asked for money, not after.

No. There is nothing to buy, no exchange account, and no transaction for you to sign. Bringing a name you already own elsewhere is different: that path needs one step you pay a small network fee for, done once. The delegation guide covers it.

Your page is reachable from any browser through its yourname.w3.hns.one link, so anything you publish can be shared with anyone. The short form, yourname.w3, is what opens in Wildroot.

Straight answer: a free name is a label inside a name we own, so it would go with us, along with the mail, social and hosting that run on our servers. The keys are yours and stay on your device, but they control a record we serve. If you want a name that survives us, hold one yourself — that's a different path and we'll help you set it up.

No. It is ordinary internet email, encrypted in transit but processed in the clear by our servers, which means we can read it. End-to-end encryption is being worked on and is not shipped. Don't send anything through it you wouldn't want us to be able to read.

There is nothing for you to buy, hold or trade, and no token involved in using any of it. The naming layer underneath is a public record maintained by a network — about says exactly what it is — but you never touch that, and it costs you nothing.

Not externally. There has been internal security review. Wildroot is AGPL-3.0 licensed, so you're entitled to the source of any build we ship — the public repository isn't up yet, so ask and we'll send it. If you find something, please tell us.
