Day 21 of my ‘Tober Art Prompt List No Pressure Roulette sees us send some nice ladies on shore leave for Trektober. Jadz is happy to have convinced Kira to come relax and breathe in the aromatic vapours in the soothing mineral hot springs of the Hoobishan Baths on Trill, and Kira’s wondering if Jadzia means to be touching Kira’s leg. Which she can’t find it in herself to mind, to be fair. #ds9 #startrek #trektober2026 #trektober #art

Watercolour and gouache painting of Kira and Jadzia Star Trek Deep Space Nine bathing together in a hot spring. There are plumes of steam rising from the warm water, and in the background pink and violet foliage recedes into the distance against a peach coloured sky.

Day 22 of #Arttrober is Mirko, a hero from My Hero Academia. I'm aware of MHA, but I'm generally not hugely into superhero-themed media, so I haven't investigated further. Consequently, I didn't recognise Mirko from the prompt, but she appears to be a rabbit-themed hero? It's over 2/3 of the way through the month; my drawing is getting faster, but possibly also more slipshod. #Drawtober #Inktober #Arttrober2026 #MastoArt #FediArt #Manga #Anime #MyHeroAcademia #RumiUsagiyama #Mirko

A drawing of Rumi Usagiyama, also known as Mirko, a character from the manga and anime My Hero Academia. Mirko is a muscular, tan-skinned woman with ruddy red eyes, long straight white hair and long rabbit ears. Mirko wears a sleeveless white leotard with purple trim and a metal plate around her midriff, white gloves and purple thigh-high boots. In the drawing, Mirko is slightly crouched, one hand upon her thigh while the other is raised to pull back her hair as she gazes off to one side with a slightly savage grin.

#Inktober #Inktober2016 #Hero #Scots #illustration #art #Scottish "An aff she goes fleein at whirlin speed ettlin aye tae be the hero. We need tae get intae her heid the kenning o collateral damage and unintended consequence. An hae a thocht on whit a proportionate response ocht tae be." #translation in alt txt. #Scotland #duck

Couple in background with colourful push chair that has exploded as their super baby shoots out of it to bring a large delivery van to a sudden halt by smashing unharmed into the grill which causes the driver to burst out of the seatbelt and fly horizontally through the windscreen in a shower of glass pebbles with a bloody nose. Meanwhile a family of ducks continue to cross the road in front of the now stationary van the last of which looks up to see what all the fuss is about. The ducklings look like baby chicks because I wanted to use yellow. In English: "And off she goes flying at whirling speed aiming always to be the hero. We need to get into her head the concept of collateral damage and unintended consequences. An to have a think on what a proportionate response ought to be."

    Got a little inspired by @doublefine's Keeper for today's Inktober illustration, for the prompt "beacon". 😊 #drawing #illustration #art #digitalart #procreate #ipadpro #inktober #inktober2026 #mastoart #fediart

A black and white illustration of an anthropomorphic lighthouse creeping across some terrain. The lighthouse is tall with large, alternating stripes and a circular railing at the top. It is bent backwards and has thin black arms and legs. Its light is shining ahead, and it is illuminating its front and the terrain in front of it. In the background is a large bay, with a chunk of land peeking in from the right. Another normal lighthouse can be seen near the edge, with its own light pointing in the opposite direction of the main lighthouse. Beyond the bay is a dark sky filled with ominous clouds.
