Day 7 of #Arttrober is Slan from the manga Berserk. I first encountered Berserk when a friend got a DVD of the original anime series, and *wow* was it dark. And then at the end, (almost) everyone died horribly. Much later I read what was then available of the Berserk manga, and actually got to see what happened after the Eclipse. Stlll very dark, very adult, but engaging if you can get past all that. #Drawtober #Inktober #Arttrober2026 #MastoArt #FediArt #Manga #Anime #Berserk #Slan

Day 8 of #Arttrober is Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider games. So the question this prompt raised was which version of Lara to draw, and why not simply 'classic' Lara. I kind of liked the more realistic Lara introduced by the reboot back in... 2013? Anyway, this resulted in a more subdued, grimier look than possessed by any of my drawings so far this month, so here we go. #Drawtober #Inktober #Arttrober2026 #MastoArt #FediArt #Gaming #TombRaider #LaraCroft

Intimacy is not bought. It’s not created. It’s not gathered. Its earned. People think they can manufacture everything, but manufacturing that level of closeness? With no respect for the time that goes in, or the care? You’re better off just robbing someone.

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
