You never know hoooo’s watching from the fall foliage! Great Horned Owls are fierce predators capable of taking surprisingly large prey. Their menu can even include other raptors, such as Ospreys, Peregrine Falcons, Prairie Falcons, and even other owls. #birds #owls #GreatHornedOwl
I didn't see baby butcherburd number 3 this morning - possibly still sleeping in the nest again. The other two seem pretty comfortable moving out into their tree (I assume they're staying where ever they were last fed, but increased mobility means they're moving to where their parents land) #photography #birds
Another shot of Medrosa in mid jump, her XL sized murder mittens on full display. There was a BBC boat next to us with a $750K stabilized 8K camera running, so hopefully her caiman hunt from that day will show up on a documentary soon. #Nature #Wildlife #Photography #Cats #Brazil #Pantanal #Jaguars
