But that Zuckerberg lad is a great chap, sure didn't he give a few euro to a few GAA clubs. A lad who donates .06% of his net worth can't be that bad. Surely he wouldn't be complicit in suppressing left wing political activity. Coming to an election near you!!
We need to wean ourselves off American-owned and controlled social media and use or build European alternatives to Facebook/Instagram etc., because if we don't, they will continue to put their thumb on the scales of what's left of our democracies.
Keep in mind, full blown Nazi accounts on Facebook don't get suspended. But Zack Polanski (who is Jewish himself) and his party are pro-Palestine so HE gets suspended for "antisemitism" while the Nazi scum go completely unchecked.
This must be the result of targeted reporting, right? Sure it'll get reinstated tomorrow (conveniently enough).
Just had to block (and hide) an account responding to this for antisemitic speech.
Would like to explore why this is tbh. Whilst I have no dog in the fight here, I’ve seen full blown Nazi stuff on Facebook & instagram walk away unscathed.
