Darby Allin has been ridiculous in 2026. Full of ideas, has been in some incredible matches. Ospreay-Omega has got most of the plaudits AEW-wise but honestly I’ll remember 2026 as the year of Darby. His world title reign was brief but so f’n dense with awesome bouts.

2 years ago today, Will Ospreay vs Ricochet vs Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship! Rated ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐½ by WON. One of the best 3-ways you will ever see in wrestling. Credit x.com/thedrainmake... #AEW
I am finally watching last night's #AEWCollision and one of my favorite tropes in wrestling remains that you can get hit by tables, ladders, chairs, and barb wire and be fine, but getting hit by a title belt has the same effect as getting hit by dynamite and razor blades.
It’s not just MJF and Jon Moxley issuing challenges to New Japan talent. KENNY OMEGA appeared via video this morning, challenging Yota Tsuji & Boltin Oleg for next month. If Kenny wins, he will challenge for the IWGP World Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 21. (via New Japan Pro Wrestling)
I mean, in Pro Wrestling the average age of most male wrestlers right now is somewhere in there mid 40s. Most of the guys in WWE today are as old (if not older) as Hogan was at the peak of the Monday Night Wars!
Max getting signed to TNA and immediately saying something out of pocket that might cause TNA to lose their partnership with WWE is totally on brand for Max. I'm not sure if TNA would stick around after that partnership ends, but still. Max has a brand and by god he sticks to it.
It's very apparent NJPW has been waiting on pulling the trigger on shota vs mox for when shota actually started connecting with the crowd. He's finally started to get really over the past year and they said "we gotta do this NOW!'
#AEWGRANDSLAMFC #1 contenders match AEW Women's World tag titles Wrathlander v Divine Dominion v Sisters of sin Very good 2 way Women's tag match Power v Speed v Cleverness The latter shone through #aew
People forget the concert where Danhausen went viral for bombing was in Los Angeles in front of all the execs WWE invited. That was the exact moment the fad ended. "This is what passes for entertainment these days?"
Again, I love that you can see my beaming face in every crowd shot. This is in spite of sitting next to the most insufferable people. They were doing unfunny outrunners bits, non stop, from the pre show to the finale. Shouting Diddy party wasn't funny the first time, didn't get funnier the 100th time
NJPW's power struggle since i've started actively watching in 2023 has always kinda felt like a throwaway show to me so using the AEW partnership to their advantage to put on what feels like a Forbidden Door-style show is awesome
In true Ticketmaster fashion, they've ballsed up the AEW Presale for Dynasty in Liverpool and the 'Insider' Presale has had to be moved to tomorrow at 10am. Shit show. Fuck Ticketmaster. Fuck Live Nation.
Getting older and getting out of the anti-smark mindset is finding out that AEW is actually pretty solid and that it's okay to be a little smarky sometimes.
"There's no kink shaming in AEW". Excalibur reminding us the A in AEW really does stand for ALL. #AEW #AEWCollision
"Oh that one wrestler who is super over with the fans? Sure, let's have him beat the well established veteran champ and put the title on him to make him a bonafide star." Ya know shit is crazy in wrestling when even TNA is making an easy slam dunk decision that WWE keeps refusing to make.
AEW fans waiting on tenterhooks for the Dynasty pre-release emails to come out. I suspect we won't see them for another 6 hours (assuming that Gef on socials works from Nashville with the rest of the production team)
theyre setting up for 4 (5 depending on when the mox match is happening) matches at wrestle kingdom with aew guys in them and thats just too damn many. is this an attempt to court aew fans? who notoriously do not actually watch nooj fulltime?
#wrestlesky #prowrestling #aew I had no idea a person could garden with Don Callis. #FDC 👏👏👏-👏-👏
I was there live for this match, and it was REALLY good for it being a surprise match on the card. Mina is amazing, and Mercedes was in top form. #AEW
It’s not looking good for this AEW pre-sale. An hour before it’s due to start & neither the Liverpool nor London events are listed on Ticketmaster OR either arenas websites. The Liverpool arena website *still* lists the basketball game for the ppv date. I can’t see this pre-sale happening today.
Pretty sure Erik Bitch Off keeps running his mouth about Steven because he knows that he never once pulled off the biker leather as well as Steven does #AEW
Hey, AEW fans. I, too, hate the rapey MAGA company. But let’s not do the same shit the animals who still watch that shit do, like accusing the few reputable journalists out there of being bought and paid for, posting fake/AI content, and getting defensive of every minor criticism. #Wrestlesky 🤼
The raw violence and power and charisma in this match! RAHHHHHHH!
#wrestlesky 🤼 #aewgrandslam #aewcollision I am happy for Wrathlander, but Sisters of Sin need a push, as well as need to do more Artists of Stardom title defenses.
I legit cancelled plans for this, and I'm gonna have to risk getting into trouble at work tomorrow to get a fucking ticket. Really disappointed in AEW honestly, just hints that they don't actually give a shit about the UK fans. That they don't even do their presales properly
Sooo I get my presale access to #AEW dynasty for Liverpool and when I click the link being told it's today, Ticketmaster says tomorrow the fuck
#AEW insider team in 4 hours when they realise the code release was supposed to be in British Standard Time #AEWDynasty
One of the best matches I've ever seen live. I was riveted.
Your Creed. My Creed. #AEW
Leon Slater is ~5 months younger than Je'Von Evans.
AEW sending Ospreay, Omega and MJF to Japan seems....kind of a big deal and really great.
The story is so good too cause Tsuji was talking all that shit. So now there you go, there’s the GOAT Kenny Omega
the difference between who NJPW gets from the dub and who Stardom gets from the dub..I need someone at nooj to have a worse match at WK than whatever that Fuwa Julia match was
DANI LUNA STARTIN OFF CLOSE TO THE TBS BELT HMMMMMMMMMMM 👀 🤼
I knew Danhausen was going to age like milk in WWE, glad I was able to sell a shirt for a ridiculous amount of money. I knew if WWE fans would go in debt to watch Jey Uso, I could get some mark to overpay for a t-shirt.
Let's check out Max Casters TNA debut. And we're done here.
The more I learn about the aew business model the more I love Tony and what he is doing for wrestling as a whole.
Empire State Wrestling presents WRESTLEBASH XVI! Featured Match: ESW Heavyweight Champion Gregory Iron vs. Leon Ruff Date: Friday, Nov 13 at 7 p.m. (Doors open at 6 p.m. Location: Buffalo RiverWorks Tickets: ESWTIX.com #IndieWrestling #WrestleSky #NXT #WWE
I feel like the wrestledream to Worlds end chunk of AEW is always bad and weird booking
LET'S GO MAX YOU'RE THE BEST WRESTLER A-LIVE!
After Shingo Takagi & Dakai Nagai won their match, Jon Moxley appeared on the big screen and says he will return to New Japan Pro-Wrestling. #WrestleSky 🤼🤼♀️ #njkopw 🤼 #NJPW 🤼 #AEW 🤼🤼♀️
Good, we can go back to watching Mystery main events again (we had been 'boycotting,' as it were, since Johnny Whatever took the belt). Felt very counter to the promotion
Shota being cheered over Gabe Kidd and actively the better wrestler, how things have changed ( the booking has not 🙄)
Six Man Tag Title match was really good. It was great to see Ospreay in there with Yuto-Ice. #njkopw #njpw
I do very much wonder if we'll be seeing some Mystery staples (looking at you, London and Layla) in RoH/AEW sometime soon
Or a non-title threat then Wrestle Kingdom... I guess? #WrestleSky 🤼
Alright I'm awake and watching NJPW live for the first time since Dontaku and not the next day or two. Excited for the show. I love Oiwa, but still rooting for Tsuji. #NJPW
Also enjoyed Kenny wearing his AEW jacket but using his New Japan theme
Dani and…Hyan?!?! Ooohhhhh boy…I smell the smoke and see the red skies. Do it Tony.
I miss Lio Rush #AEW
