Last night's #boardgames included Tales of the Arthurian Knights. Although it's similar to Vantage - another choose your own adventure game - I liked this much more. You pick up and develop skills that are genuinely useful, and statuses that are not (one of our number became accursed, mad and obsessed). And there's a really big book with proper story telling. We played a shortish competitive game, but it can be co-op (and longer). Would definitely play again.

Good to be playing again after nearly a month off. My group managed some board game nights with a visiting former member during that time, but RPGs >>> board games in my book.
