I'm a trans woman. I also grew up on Harry Potter. I haven't touched that vile woman's media in more than a decade. But something about this image brought back the pain of betrayal, of losing something dear to me that kept me company during really hard parts of my childhood. It's just not fair.

Also her second point. Free your own head of it. There is so much more and better stuff out there. Let yourself let go of it. You're really not missing out. Free yourself. I was still kinda sad when Hogwarts Legacy was announced because I could potentially like it and "miss out". Now? Nothing.
Realizing that I was a "high functioning" neurodivergent CPTSD person for a long time. That went away when I came out as a trans woman and that intersection became too heavy, because I was once "functioning" I have a lot of trouble shaking this feeling that it's my fault that I lost everything.
