  1. Annoyed the Pats lost, but I can't be mad at Chicago. Like one of three teams that could beat us and my reaction is "Well fought, see ya next time." Probably helps that Bears fans tend to be chill as hell every time I've watched Pats games with them.

Josh McDaniels Thinks His OL Sucks is the worst self-fulfilling prophecy because he limits the offense so much that you never know if production could be an option

    Opinion
  3. @patspov.bsky.social

Patriots down 2 scores and don’t trust their OL to block it up. Tragic turn of events. On the plus side, Amazon sent us to commercial with Thnks Fr Th Mmrs (by Chicago natives) Fall Out Boy. Nice work.

The Sharks finally have their first regulation win with Yaroslav Askarov's career-high 41 saves backing them up 🙌

Genuinely love App State, but half their on field players thinking they won it when they didn't is SO on brand with all the guys I personally know who went to App State.

Wrote this about Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson leading up to last year’s playoffs. These past two games feel like we’re still just scratching the surface for what this  Bears offense can be … www.betweenthehashmarks.com/p/calibratin...

  8. I think a really important take away from tonight’s Bears game is “this coaching staff will give you second chances. Take them.” And I think that’s beautiful.

Nice to see the alma mater looking competent against the most hated sports team of my youth. Been too damn long since I’ve been at a Gophers-Sioux game…

Shai has to do a better job of giving consistent effort on his boxouts & on the glass Has given up multiple offensive rebounds — leading to numerous second-chance points Will do a film breakdown on this(!)

That's a Jets win! 3:2! No points tonight for me but I definitely caused trouble. Couple folks tried to knock me off the puck and fight along the boards. It didn't end well for them. Lots of opposing players on the ice. Not because I hit them, but because they tried to hit me. Good passes, too.

  12. Vrabel has absolutely done clever clock shit before, very easily could have been an instruction to try to jump the snap to try for a stuff and if you're offsides oh well no timeout needed.

Anyways Zavion Thomas our fucking THIRD ROUND PICK had one good return 0 receiving yards and two penalties that cost first downs we drafted him to play special teams over literally any defender Moreover, ICE must be destroyed

Roschon Johnson had his best game as a Bear last week when they decided to use him in the short passing game. Anxious to see how the Pats scheme against that when they see him come in.

In spite of Saturday's heroics, #MNUFC isn't going to make the playoffs. Probably. Maybe. The bottom of the West is bad, someone has to get in, so... why not the Loons? callupastorm.com/minnesota-un...

  16. Across the street the Gopher Women scored more goals (11) than Lindenwood had shots on goal (10) in a 11-0 shutout win. Eight different Gophers scored with Adriana Millani, Maddie McCullough and Ashley Allard all scoring two each.

31 points in 10 games, never done by an Oiler. That 153 point mark could be a thing of history come this April. My piece on Connor McDavid's tear to begin 26-27 for Avrysports. #NHL #Oilers avrysports.com/f/31-points-...

Yes, this is the same Gophers team that lost by six goals to UMD six days ago. They look much more like they did Saturday than they did Friday. And North Dakota is struggling to make plays under pressure.

I don’t watch the Bears religiously by any means but it feels like they don’t put much effort at all into getting Rome Odunze the ball

I'll take any win on Thursday night football. Most games on short rest are ugly. Now Bears get extra rest plus one day as they don't play again until Monday Night Football in Seattle. And I'll be there.

he's been good! best rookie TE in a draft where everyone talked about how important TE was going to be. he's got real deal movement skills and has some blocking tools I expect he'll hone in time

  22. @weatherfox64.bsky.social

I’m getting updates on the Pats-Bears game via emojis in the Discord from fans of both teams, and from occasional blips from my fantasy app since I started Rhamondre Stevenson this week. And now I need to go find a replay of that last play that ended with a 48-yard TD

    Personal
  23. @whiteheatff.bsky.social

FYI Rome Odunze’s tape blows all of these rookies I’ve been doing breakdowns on out of the water. Makai Lemon and Carnell Tate are the only ones close. Don’t sleep on him any longer.

  24. @danlucero.bsky.social

Thought there were some genuinely encouraging things defensively and with some of the second unit stuff tonight, but the turnovers are disgusting and they wouldn’t beat an SEC team with their two best guys missing all their shots.

    Opinion
  25. so the win is huge for obvious reasons but that game had multiple lol bears narratives that now won't matter: the play at the end of half + a doink. would have been real hard to deal with.

    Opinion
  26. @dartadams.bsky.social

Starting off the game not throwing the ball x turning the ball over in the Red Zone only to give up a touchdown drive has really hamstrung the Patriots tonight…

    Opinion
  27. Glad the Bears won, but my goodness, they are determined to beat themselves. I expect more from a team coached by Ben Johnson, but I’m not sure why I think that when it’s not at all evident that it’s ever been true.

Interesting formation on that play for App State. Wonder why they called a timeout before the snap
