I was successful in getting my hair washed bright and early this morning. Of course, my timing annoyed my teenager, but that was going to happen no matter what, ha ha. Part of their 'tism flavour is being super rigid in doing things when they want/'need' to, ie, taking a shower when they wake up without delay. It's also influenced by probable bipolar disorder. I've been diagnosed/treated for it for 14/15 years, and it's so wild to me how many people have never known pre-treated me. Child came to the conclusion they might have it on their own steam, but of course, I'm backing them up on getting a diagnosis.

They're getting their bits down for a referral, and we'll poke the surgery for one in the near future. WE can only do the e-consult when the surgery is actually open, so it's a matter of whether we hop on that ASAP in this coming week, or wait until the week after, when the kids are off of school for half-term. Anyhoos. Back to other things. <3 #deardiary #dailylog #mentalhealth

  1. Content warningmh real talk; autistic burnout + depressions

After 6 weeks on sick leave due to autistic burnout + heavy depressions (again!), I'm now “allowed” to go back to work tomorrow. But only because I don't feel like dealing with sick pay from my health insurance company. That was already a pain last time. But hey, at least there's one good thing about all this. I'm now on medication for depression (Finally!!!), and it's helping.

To be fair, they would have covered the costs if I had continued to wait for an opening with a psychologist covered by my health insurance. But to be honest, by then I probably would have... well, left this world.

By the way, my health insurance didn't cover the cost of psychological treatment. I had to pay for it myself. If you ever hear people say that health care in Germany is good, well, no. We're almost at U.S. levels here (soon...)
