‘Digger’ was… actually good? Idk, I really liked it. It felt like if ‘Don’t Look Up’ and ‘Birdman’* had a baby, except I liked that baby. It was on the nose but the pulling-back of the curtain about 35 minutes in gave it an extra layer I both appreciated and didn’t expect. *Another Iñárritu film

I thought #digger was a masterpiece, and I think time will prove me right, but also if you are in two minds about it, you really ought to a) avoid finding out too much about it b) absolutely see it in a cinema
Went to see Digger tonight. It’s a bit of an odd mess of a film - or so it appeared - that took a bit of understanding, but I came away having enjoyed it.
