    Installed a J2ME game to my feature phone which requires connecting to an ad server to display ads before the game will load. Given that the ad server as well as the payment server to turn it into an ad-free version are dead (and 2G has disappeared for these phones here even if the servers were up), this would make the game unplayable. Thankfully there is a numeric code you can retrieve which you are supposed to enter on the computer while purchasing, which can be used to generate a key that can be input manually without any Internet connectivity. So I just cracked an 18 year old Java phone
