Every 10 years or so, the fact that my corporate linux laptop always works seduces me into buying a linux laptop for personal use. I am immediately dumped into debugging firmware.

  2. "Do you want to stop debugging?" No. Not actually, no. But the client has instituted, perhaps wisely, a 24 hour logon limit on all accounts. And I don't want it to bite me in the ass while I am hitting the server. I don't want to lock myself out completely at this unluigidly hour.

🐞 Ladybugs 🐞 were bugging out, but thanks to quick debugging that bugger is no more! If that puzzle proved more frustrating than needed, I'm sorry! Fresh patch for FOLLOW THESE STEPS is now live on Steam and itch!

  4. When are we gonna stop talking about what we could, should or would do with AI and start actually doing it? Its been years and several trillion dollars spent. The time to speculate on its potential is over. Show me the money.

  6. The presenter didn't really describe a recipe for how to debug desyncs. They said they basically treat them as crashes - the cause could be a million things, and it takes real engineering to figure them out. There is no magic bullet. In production, they don't want to send full dumps of all the internal state of the game, so there they just send CRCs. This makes it really difficult to debug them. (The full dumps are just for development builds.) 2/n

    Matches your wordsGaming

Search looks through the last 48 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. Meaning search uses a model on Wildroot’s server. Query text may be sent through OpenRouter to an embedding provider if that model is unavailable or for a quality-check sample. Wildroot does not save query text to disk.
