I am feeling attacked
My 10 y/o son has ADHD. He's not ashamed to be open about it. He discusses with his friends (some of whom ADHDers, autistics or neurotypical kids) how they perceive the world, how they learn etc. Me at that age? "Oh that's the weirdo kid."🙄 You get labelled anyway. And this was far more damaging
So I have started ADHD medications. I am currently on a getting-used-to-it dose, which will increase over the coming months; I hope it allows me to concentrate and focus better. I hope that I can find, or build, a better version of myself on the far end of it.
