The only halfway rational response would be for every person in this country with a modicum of morality left in their withered souls to go out in the street on December 3rd and just primal scream for 12 full hours. I can't post about the all-the-way rational response on social media.

Most of the complaints I get about my book have to do with the public execution scenes being too horrifying, and I'm just like shit YEAH PUBLIC EXECUTION IS HORRIFYING. It takes some measure of humanity from everyone involved, from condemned to spectator - we won't "come back from" this

"Cry Little Sister" from The Lost Boys, hands down. ("Goodbye Horses" would be there but for my firm belief that Silence of the Lambs = Thriller, not Horror)

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
