Mr Merz is saying, that an AfD-guy in Saxony-Anhalt, may have received votes from the left in local assembly, as "false flag operation", and not from almost a third of CDU members there. 2/2 At least that's what do to their soldiers, not even giving them proper training, and telling them to rush the enemy... something that may have worked well against Nazis, who e.g. on D-Day were on holiday, etc., and hardly kept up with what all is going on. But in current case, it is rather as if WWI, with entrenched positions and such, albeit with way less manpower involved so far than when e.g. UK had 247,000 soldiers in 1914, to then field nearly 4 millions, etc. dw.com/en/putins-foreign-fight…

- Moscow’s grim strategy of bombarding the country’s population so it capitulated would not work, he said. - Not much of a strategy, when it makes the other side fight for survival, since it is not like the Russian state would seem to guarantee the right to life of civilians, and therefore difficult to accept as overlord.
