I'm a white Australian and I know Federal anti-lynching laws were blocked in Congress by Southern racists for decades. You can sanction things with a nod and a wink.

There are three kinds of white ppl when it comes to the discussion of slavery: Those who embrace it and aren't afraid to confront its everlasting effects. Those who distance themselves and say, "NoT aLl WhItE pPl." Those who try to silence the discussion immediately. WHICH ONE ARE YOU? 🫵🏾

  5. Unfortunately our history would suggest we've been heading down this road for decades. Internment camps, slavery, concentration camps, Government Sanctioned Murder by ICE. We've been heading into the dark side since the beginning of America.

Either your AI isn't sentient, meaning there's no reason to do this, or it is, and you are bringing back slavery and should therefore be stopped at once, violently if necessary.

  7. They’ve made more than enough gains with automation that we should all be working a 3-4 day work week at the very least. Advancing AI without universal basic income ( #ubi ) just proves slavery is the point. Because they will always have to have someone to steal from (exploit). #educatedproletariat

John Brown, I keep having to remind people, lost. Got a lot of people killed. The war that ultimately destroyed slavery did not start b/c of John Brown. It started b/c the Confederates A) seceded, and B) fired on Ft. Sumter. Those things likely both happen if Brown hadn’t bothered.

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
