All ethnonationalism is racism. White ppl are asserting their English identity in a political environment shaped by the institutional racism of Braverman’s current & former political parties. They have legitimised an ugly discourse that’s deepening the culture war divisions in this ctry. #r4today

Ms Badenoch can promise whatever she likes. The more awkward truth TheTories are in third place and her bounce is relative, up from an historic low. When you’re that far behind, promises are cheap. Irrelevance sometimes breeds desperation #r4today

I'd rather Tesco pay their staff and suppliers properly than make a £3 billion profit. Paying them better would reduce, possibly only a little, the current reliance on UC. In work benefits are needed for many as the supermarkets pay do badly. 1.25m people work for UK supermarkets. #R4today

  5. Over a year ago, Health Foundation reported that only 38% of NHS trusts were meeting the target to deliver a 5% improvement on the percentage of waits within 18 weeks. This is not a new announcement, it’s getting real about what old data told us. www.health.org.uk/media-office... #r4today

It will be a very sad and dark day for Britain if the residents of Holborn and St Pancras, the seat of our last Prime Minister, elect Zack Polanski, the leader of the openly racist and antisemitic Green Party as their MP today #R4today

Privilege is knowing that #r4today presenters won't point out the obvious hypocrisy of The Spectator regarding their treatment of the Arday/Orr situation. That privilege is built on the close relationship between this show and that right-wing magazine with Nick Robinson attending this year.

James Orr (whatever his wrongdoings) knew that his privilege meant that he wouldn't suffer the same as Jason Arday. Plus the close relationship between #r4today presenters and The Spectator meant that while the Arday situation was highlighted (whatever his wrongdoings) the Orr one was not.

  9. English debate on #r4today is ridiculous. English wasn't a debste in 60's. Scottish & Welsh Nationalists were seen as ridiculous. They campaigned for decades for welcoming type nationalism that could include everyone because they needed votes. England & English never had debate about who they're.

Search looks through the last 48 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. Meaning search uses a model on Wildroot’s server. Query text may be sent through OpenRouter to an embedding provider if that model is unavailable or for a quality-check sample. Wildroot does not save query text to disk.
