If you hate the new rounded everything in the Firefox UI facelift, you can turn it off by setting browser.nova.enabled = false in about:config

I'm trying to like Firefox, I really am. But... in my experience Chrome has had less page loading issues and generally feels faster x.x

Seems I can't reply to posts on here using Firefox. Good website. 👍 Android app still works though. For now.

So, I'm running into the issue that Firefox considers the cgnat ip block local, but work has decided to use cgnat for some websites. Does anyone know the format for network.lna.address_space.local.override to properly remove cgnat ips from being considered local and blocked? Or maybe another way to make cgnat ips to not be local? #Firefox
interestingly this US government site specifically recommends Firefox. i wonder why. usually sites try to get you to use Chrome > NOTE: The eCO System has been confirmed for use with the Firefox browser on the Microsoft Operating system […]

there are a few reasons I’m considering moving to a Fairphone next time I change my phone, and a big one is that Firefox on Android can have Adblock sometimes I’ll try to read a news story or go on a wiki and it feels like my iPhone has caught a disease

what do i think about the rounded tabs in firefox? it's a hard pill to swallow.

Any @firefox.com smarties know if it's possible to have the browser tab wallpaper follow the system theme? Feels weird to have a light wallpaper with a dark browser.

#Interop2027 voting is open, and @firefoxwebdevs is again doing their own more detailed ranking system: interop-rank.fxdx.dev I've ranked the new Web App Install APIs first, as I believe they're the most needed to get the web platform to be competitive on mobile and therefore stay relevant over the long-term: github.com/web-platform-tests/…

2027 web platform feature ranking. The @webdevs.firefox.com team asks you to rank around 10 of the 100 Interop 2027 proposals you care about. Last year’s 1900+ rankings shaped both Interop picks and Firefox’s own priorities. #interop #firefox interop-rank.fxdx.dev/

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
