Lufia and the Fortress of Doom is the only JRPG I've played that punishes you with a ridiculous encounter rate because you're wearing the wrong panties. This isn't a joke. There is armor called "Clear Silk" and if you equip it the game just silently jacks up encounters. #retrogaming #lufia #jrpg

  2. Little showcase of Skies Above. For anyone stumbling upon this for the first time. It's a JRPG inspired TTRPG I created based of years of love for snes and ps1 era games! Is there any content from the game you'd like to see?

Fixed some issues in the enemy movement code, namely that they assumed all map chunks had the same size and thus couldn't properly move between ones with different size. Now they can, and it also has the bonus that they can look extra big and intimidating. #gamedev #indiedev #JRPG

The "man and young girl" duo isn't a mandatory formula in game design. Gender and age combos should change based on the story. There’s no need to force a "little sister" trope every time. Every game has its own unique, perfect character balance. #GameDev #JRPGNarrative

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
