Young people can't afford rent. They can't afford homes. They were promised a future while the richest among us hoard every last resource. Gen z is rising up globally to protest inequality!

Personally I’d impose a 100% inheritance tax. All you possessions return to the state when you die. It’s the only way we’ll seriously tackle systematic inherited inequality….

  5. Oh dear, the wealth advisors claiming that David Reuben (billionaire) had 'left' the UK due to Labour's tax changes, have been caught out... he's been domiciled in Monaco for tax purposes by his own admission for over a decade. And given other evidence of a lack of 'exodus' by the super-rich, it would be nice if the media started reporting real news not making up things that are convenient to their owners.... Not holding my breath, though #tax #politics #inequality theguardian.com/news/2026/oct/…

A few years ago there was discourse about how the Guardian Australia's Inequality Reporter on the housing crisis had no experience of homelessness herself. On one hand, there was something messed up that this was branded as "class reductionism."

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service.
