Souls of the damned mill aimless, some drifting towards the piercing light in the distance. Lesser devils flicker through the twisted blood bog, seeking to tempt individuals, but the giant sanguipod patiently awaits a larger meal. by Paul Lehr couldn't find a title. I think this has a spooky feel? Maybe it has the same sort of aesthetic as a sort of 60s - 70s science fiction that scared me when I was a kid. It's dark and there are evil-looking implements being used and idk I don't get a definite good guy sense from this character - that could be the cape and helmet of an evil alien villain. Weird energies flying around that don't seem normal, and maybe a vision of hell behind them. I'm spooked! 🤣 #art #scifiArt #evilVillain #probe #helmet #hellscape #space #spooky

There's something uniquely dark about people using AI to generate cyberpunk imagery. Even their glimpses into a dystopian hellscape where man struggles to find meaning and something worth preserving in the encroaching oblivion of machines are getting run through a lazy, slop-recombobulator.

One question that occasionally rises in my mind while living in a capitalist hellscape is, Am I really this desensitized to advertising, or are companies just Really Fucking Bad At It? This shit is forced into every fucking aspect of our lives at this point and I have been shoving it

“I mean, we live in a political hellscape. I’m not super happy with the political climate in the nation – or in the world, really. I think it’s weird we can’t talk about the genocide in Palestine, and that AI is this destructive thing we’re just supposed to be okay with.”

When Eric Adams was first running for mayor he won in no small part because the local and national news media alike helped him manufacture the perception there was a crime spree in NYC that simply did not exist.

The few Iris chapters in my sequel WIP have the most unique narrative voice - she's sassy, fun, and perceptive in a way that allows me to have more fun with what she shares. The sequel was almost entirely from her POV, which didn't make sense narratively. Maybe she'll get a companion novella.

Search looks through the last 48 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. Meaning search uses a model on Wildroot’s server. Query text may be sent through OpenRouter to an embedding provider if that model is unavailable or for a quality-check sample. Wildroot does not save query text to disk.
