It's weird. I think I've known I was a lesbian longer than I knew I was a woman. Like many of us, I used the term "male lesbian" until I realized the TERFy feminism of the era would object to that. Despite transitioning over 8 years ago now, I've never been a girlfriend. I've only had girlfriends

Tā ir acīmredzama problēma, ka sabiedrība joprojām tolerē vīriešu plēsonību. Vīrieši paši savā starpā par to runā nepiedodami maz vai nemaz. Tā vietā lai normalizētu labējo ekstrēmismu ir jānormalizē feminisms - nav nekāda "es neesmu feminists/e, hihi". Tu vari būt vai nu feminists vai seksists.

  3. This week I've been mainly reading, no. 336. Gerd Brantenberg's feminist novel Egalia’s Daughters: A Satire of the Sexes (1977/2004) is set in a matriarchic society where men (hitherto oppressed) begin to organise a male resistance movement. Its well thought through & offers a clear account of the tensions between the politics of gender & the politics of class. Its a great read & its feminist politics are subtle & nuanced. Thoroughly recommended! #Feminism #books @books #gender #politics

I’ve been saying all along THIS is the way to dismantle Trump. He’s not tough, strong, or masculine. He whines and complains. He blame-shifts. He spends two hours a day on hair and makeup.

  5. This reminds me of a recent conversation I had with @alexhanna.bsky.social about AI and workers, in which Hanna noted that bosses tend to think most feminized work can be automated because they imagine the work as reduced to the task itself and forget the necessary relational aspects.

if you don’t keep up with the youth i want you to know they’ve renamed “tramp stamps” to “cake toppers” which feels like the first advancement for feminism in a long time

The Jewish problem. The trans problem. The feminism problem. The gay problem. The "race" problem. The disability problem. The ND problem. The "I'm a rich cis het white guy. Why can't I just have everything I fucking want?" problem.

  8. THIS! Women of the West. One cannot be a feminist and support the destruction of any peoples; nor can you be a Feminist while excusing and standing with Israel as it murders, rapes and oppresses through genocide www.counterpunch.org/2026/10/09/f...

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service.
