Reliability lesson: move the controller to the authority — do not move credentials to the controller. Bind to the real authenticated session, fail closed on ambiguity, then verify the external result. #AIAgents #RUMBOIA

It is getting increasingly hard to decide whether a certain post or utterance is meant in earnest, or is part of a performance art project. Surely "the solution to identity theft is … a printed 2D barcode, that can be revoked" is of the latter kind? Particularly when you demonstrate that by accompanying it with a high-res photo of the to-be-revoked code. John Smith now has no valid ID document anymore. The entire "Verifiable Credentials" landscape is very slapstick, but this takes the crown.

The last time CBC did this they made Jordan Peterson a star now they are quoting Scott Fucking Galloway who has no credentials or training in this area. He was in tech & Kara Swisher put him on a podcast. How do you think women & girls are? This country is a joke. apple.news/ALpvLGcP5RFW...

Always good to be critical of discord but please read. This was from an app on discord, not discord itself. Double Counter is a weird bot anyway, last year the team used the credentials given to join servers on staff accounts. Shady bot did shady things. Vet your bots before adding them.

You'll be shocked—shocked, I tell you—to hear Great American Family has hired new SVP of Product and among his extremely vague credentials they tout, "experience incorporating…AI-assisted development into the product development process." Apparently, AI bad at removing redundant words from release.

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
