SQL Copilot's Read-Only Mode Wasn't Read-Only. I was in Italy for a month. While I was gone, somebody got sysadmin out of SQL Copilot with a variable. The vulnerability is CVE-2026-65669, the SSMS 22 Copilot bug I wrote about early September. www.sqlfingers.com/2026/10/sql-...

Writing code generators was so annoying before LLMs. Now it is rather effortless. I've been experimenting this and so far it seems very nice way to do layers like repository, rest, forms etc. all without Prisma or other established code generators. Output is also very easy to understand, with SQL.

if you have the luxury of choosing languages for a greenfield project, you should start by modeling the domain with types Go isn't great for that, or any abstraction really. I'd pick a combination of Haskell (Typescript if extruding with AI) and SQL

Search looks through the last 48 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. Meaning search uses a model on Wildroot’s server. Query text may be sent through OpenRouter to an embedding provider if that model is unavailable or for a quality-check sample. Wildroot does not save query text to disk.
