Whew, what a week… but we made it, fedi friends! Today was another neurologist, another ‘GOT NOTHIN’ FOR YA’ :blobfoxgooglytrash: Dr is ordering a nerve conduction study as a last resort but basically told me if it doesn’t find anything, it’s not neurological. Has anyone had a NCS/EMG and have any tips or advice to share? #askfedi #health #MedicalMystery #advice
Hello. I’m looking for a Canadian audiobook narrator. Voice should sound masculine and 40-ish. Specific accent is Alberta. Ideally able to do other accents as well, including Northern Irish. But the key one is Alberta. And the text will be riddled with Canadianisms and Canadian place names. Recommendations? #audio #askfedi
Un-success - he decided he didn't want to bother with international postage after all. #Askfedi, I am now 0 for 3 on trying to buy a Saitek P2000, preferably in box but on its own would be useful. This was a combo gameport and USB gamepad from around the year 2000, is notable because of tilt controls, and the handful I've seen on eBay have been all in the UK. If you have one sitting in your garage and would consider mailing it to Canberra, I want to buy it from you. DMs are open. #retrogaming

I have a #parenting/#AI question for the fediverse. I know the fediverse tends to be pretty anti-AI, especially when you combine parenting and AI, but I'd genuinely like to hear people's thoughts on this. My 9-year-old son has been interested in learning to code. I'll be honest, I tried teaching him, but I'm a terrible teacher. He lost interest.
fedi, do you have any good vegan spaghetti recipies? I saw one that substitutes meat with lentils, but I was curious what other veggies I could add before it becomes inedible.
#thefilmcrowd ... slipped him a sedagive!

#askwxm 1/2 Never leave a Wrexham game early. And never switch a club stream off early either. About half an hour after the match finishes you usually get manager interviews. Today, Parky see 2/2

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
