  1. I am playing the beta for Warcraft Forever, and it feels so nostalgic. I am going to start a character for stream, but right now I am taking my time with Nagisha 2.0. It's going to be nice to take my time questing again. Managed to catch golden hour in Durotar!~ #warcraft #warcraftforever

“WoW Forever is gonna eclipse retail or kill it” yeah, it’s not gonna do that “There can only be one World of Warcraft” then it’s gonna be the version they’ve been working on for almost 30 years lol

This post resonates a *lot* with the exact same feelings I was having at Blizzcon in the wake of the Forever reveal. Sitting in the crowds for those panels for Forever was such an odd feeling because it had *so* many of the things I want to see in WoW... just not for the WoW I play.

Y'all, I may actually cave and return to Azeroth after being away from it for 8 years just because of WoW Forever. Who the heck am I right now?

Instead of betting on WoW Forever devs understanding what horizontal progression means, you could just like... play any other MMO that already does it and does it well. Guild Wars 2 and OSRS to name two prominent examples. ESO as well. The devs still want raid tiers lmao oh my god

I got only one wish for Forever mogs and that's to have the Personal Tabard ported over. Probably going to run a few solo-guilds anyway & that's part of the reason why but still

  9. Hey, wow forever. Why can't Gnomes be hunters? Like guns are engineered, we should be able to use them. Honestly, the "core" classes should be universal. Warrior, priest, rogue, hunter, mage. Everyone should have those.

not intended to spark discourse but with the Retail vs Forever nonsense, going to throw my hat into the ring with a point that the Retail crowd can't seem to look at: Retail questing/leveling loop isn't fun and if you don't like M+ you don't get to play end-game content with the general audience.

  11. This week's Blizzard Watch Podcast is all about the end-game, which is to say transmog and holiday home decor. We may not be turning our homes into pumpkins, but we're certainly hoping to surround them with pumpkins for the appropriately festive effect. This and more on the latest episode, which is now live. blizzardwatch.com/2026/10/09/b…

  12. I log into retail WoW for the FIRST TIME after being in a UO throwback shard fugue state for the past 72 hours and get DC'd twice in the first 10 minutes. The universe is telling me something I already know.

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service.
