As I have been saying for years, the rising oceans, the summer swell, and the storm swells will cause coastal flooding long before the official sea rises. www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5Id... The sea joins @thewaroncars.bsky.social with all of those cars siting or driving damaged by salt water

Kelvin wave has increased sea levels by 8-12 inches + an offshore hurricane pushing 4-6 foot waves = flooding I’ve not seen in my 30+ years living here. Supposed to get an inch of rain on Sunday too. Small comfort is King Tide is still two weeks away.

You might have heard of ghost forests appearing by US coasts as rising sea levels kill trees through a combo of water inundation and salt. Now a study reveals that it's happening further inland and near freshwater lakes too. My latest for @newscientist.com 🧪 🌲 www.newscientist.com/article/2593...

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service.
