I think all I needed to start semi-enjoying Deadlock was to play Infernus, that dude is simple and easy and has a cool design. Game still pisses me off because, yknow, moba, but that character and also playing with friends who tell me how to position and what to do helped.
insanely funny to me how after weeks of people theorizing he would somehow play a real game of chess using the moba map or open a lichess widget with his ult i ended up being dead on with "i bet he just hits you with big chess pieces"

I gotta admit that if Deadlock wasn't a MOBA-like, I would be mounting hours upon hours of gameplay... But sadly, it all overwhelms me, and does not really give me fun... but I LOVE the characters and the lore!
My favorite part about these voicelines being added to Deadlock is that "ratting" is apparently Dota 2 specific terminology so even people who play MOBAs were going "what the hell does that even mean!?"
