    So Trump, in a fit of pique because they awarded the Nobel prize to a former ICJ judge, is now going to do his best to kill off the ICJ by blocking their access to dollar funds & US banking services etc. He thinks he's world emperor. He should be in an asylum. Where's Congress in all this?

    A worthy recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. The ICJ is imperfect - powerful countries ignore ICJ- but it contributes to a goal of real international law to protect human rights. Navanethem "Navi" Pillay is the 4th African woman and 13th African person or organization to receive the Peace Prize.

    There are at least two international experts I know - both fierce critics of Israel's destruction campaign of Gaza - who believe the ICJ will not find Israel guilty of genocide, due to the highly conservative approach of the court. This is a real possibility, that should be considered.

    The ICC/ICJ independently investigates International Law Violations & gives a venue to prosecute individuals that cannot or will not be tried fairly by their home country The alternative could be "trials in absentia" for War Crimes/Genocidal Acts & issuing "K or C bounties" for those found guilty ⚖️

    I had hoped for that too. However, she is perfect. By giving it to her the ICC & ICJ just shoved it where it counts & sent an extremely powerful message to Israel & US. You know it hit home cuz the latter put sanctions in claiming Rogue Court & former the usual anti-israel pitiful is bs.
