  3. Bats are super cute and this at least looks like a rescuer but this thread is full of people who are handling bats they or their animals found and I'd like to remind everyone that bats are a huge percentage of animal to human cases of rabies in the US and should never be handled bare handed.

  5. On the one hand bats are actually way cuter to me than they are to most people. On the other hand I'm a realist who realizes they are a common vector diseases including rabies, one of the most deadly/expensive to treat diseases of all. It's a love/hate relationship.
