Once upon a time Claude made up some numbers instead of doing actual arithmetic to find an answer and I told it to never do that again, so now if it wants to know if 1+1=2 it spins up a Python script to be sure.

  5. #TTRPGTHOUGHTS 1 How “fair” should we be with opponent descriptions? Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a touchstone for many D&D players. Mainly the older OR/Grognard types. (As always I’m using the UK definition of GROGNARD rather than the US. Kindly old uncles rather than gatekeepers.) 1

I said no microblogging, but I want to say that if you're learning a new programming language, or just want to brush up on one, then #exercism is really a great tool. Can't recommend it enough. Used to always roll my eyes at those sort of exercises, but it's really been helpful for me to grasp different concepts. Also want to say that #Zig is probably my favorite #programming language and I haven't even really written anything in terms of personal projects. Just read some books and exercises. Search looks through the last 48 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. Meaning search uses a model on Wildroot’s server. Query text may be sent through OpenRouter to an embedding provider if that model is unavailable or for a quality-check sample. Wildroot does not save query text to disk.
