    Had to take my cat to the veterinary ER last night for an eye wound. It turned out to be more of a head and eyelid laceration from skin irritation so it wasn't that serious, but being in the pet ER for a couple of hours was an experience. The amount of grief coming in through the door was unnerving. You'd have to have the uncommon combination of nerves of steel plus an oversized compassion meter to be able to handle working in a place like that for more than a month. Also, to anyone in the West San Jose area, MedVet in Campbell is great. #cats

    My vet is awesome. My cat ate some chkn+turkey meat (& almost my finger his teeth are still sharp & big) But he's sick & sad. And old. Which sux. We think he may be superconstipated. Kidneys fine in Jun/Jul so hopefully not those. Other symptoms not thyroid or diabetes. Will go in 1st thing Mon.

    I have my grand puppy here and she is shooting water (if you know what I mean) since yesterday. I have her diet restricted to ckn, white rice and water. Any other suggestions??

    Came home after one of the most grueling weeks in recent memory to my elderly cat’s back legs collapsing. Took him to the vet immediately and he’s a-okay. Just needed a re-up on his arthritis shots and apparently he needs a heating pad??? For his joints?? 🥴

    gave Gigi some gabapentin to chill her out for a vet trip this afternoon, and apparently a few months off it reset her tolerance, because she is OUT. fully zonked in my lap, little snores, god i wish it were me.
