Just heard Rope. I love me some synthwave. The melody is fun and the lyrics are poignant, but something about the mixing and audio levels feels… off? I’m not even sure how to explain it. It almost feels like it’s not quite finished. I’ll probably appreciate it more in context.

The #modwave is such an endlessly cool #synth Before recording, I changed the rhythmical structure of the sequence and edited a 4-note section of the 32 steps to give that phrase more of a driving effect to push through from steps 13-16 into 17-20
