The Framers foresaw the possibility of a demagogue. There is just no way to build a system that clamps down on people when a majority decides that a racist rapist demagogue traitor and his enabling party are what they want. "A republic, if you can keep it," said Franklin in 1787. Vote Democratic.

90 million didn't vote. I got my ballot yesterday morning, and I voted and put it in the dropbox yesterday afternoon. I always vote, and I've always voted for democrats and democratic policies. 45 years and counting.

republicans wrote us off long ago. you dont see republicans trying to win over clinton/obama/biden/kerry voters. and its more of an uphill climb for them. if dems spent 1/3 as much time cultivating their base as they do kissing the feet of republicans hoping theyll change, the party wouldnt lose

  6. The thing is... We all know the gop is pushing out a fuck ton of lies and misinformation about all dems in election cycle. Spending time attacking dems further now validates those attacks and floods a system massively overflooded already.

there's this idea that dems are ALWAYS throwing races but where does this come from? Dems hold a lot of EXCEPTIONALLY challenging seats, and generally overperform! Like, 2024 wasn't even "cLinChINg DEfeAT froM thE JAwS of VICtoRy!!1!" It was "clinching narrow loss from the jaws of humiliating loss!"

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
