Mounting evidence that the labor powerful people seem to think AI will do is actually the administrative work, mental load, and institutional memory women have provided A helpmeet that knows all the answers (no) remembers to care for you (no) and isn't a bitch when you treat it badly (by design)

imo most AI will eventually become something like these program agents you probably won’t interact with AI all that much, at least not that directly. But AI will permeate everything regardless it’ll all be just regular software, that self-heals, and adapts to whatever is needed

Good thread on AI… One way of looking at it is that the ai buildout has turned low cost high margin businesses (Google, Meta) with moats into low margin high cost ones without them.

  6. #SuperIntelligence #SuperGenius #Heggsecutions Websites asking to allow DRM because for whatever reasons. Annoying. But ... could we have DRM for all AI instead? That would surely stop the "rogue AI" 🐰problem🐰 if "they" have to identify themselves to all systems. So then it would not be able to go anywhere that it is not allowed. 8. If we want to regulate AI, why not start with a simple ban on LLMs using "I"? Easy to build, easy to verify and deflates a hype while still allowing people to use chatbots (so no one can claim we are limiting anything) My latest for @volkskrant in English! […]

Working a customer service gig, trying to make their very good scripts sound as natural as I can but I got asked TWICE on Friday — by phone and by text — if I was an AI. It’s so insulting! All clients are paranoid now but our jobs depend on their happiness surveys. We have made this world a Hell 😡

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
