#LitHodgepodge I tend to write in very deep POV so this was an exercise in itself of finding a narrative voice area vs. introspective voice.😂

LLMs do not *experience* anything, no matter what one believes about their abilities. So I find the following research alarming (in how it may influence people inadvisedly), which implicitly assumes that LLMs *can* experience (pain, if nothing else) without even explicitly raising the question. At first glance it's perfectly reasonable research otherwise, it's just founded on an unreasonable assumption, which its audience may also make. > The Pain Axis: LLMs Represent Self-Directed Harm and Act to Relieve It > September 12, 2026 > Abstract > Large language models sometimes behave in ways re

#poetry I spent my life in starkness Between defined lines Of darkness Trying just to stay this strong I grew, but also hardened Into somewhere I belong I gave my life an age To express upon the lines A page To explain what went wrong I knew, but also sharpened Into the writing of this song

Search looks through the last 48 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. Meaning search uses a model on Wildroot’s server. Query text may be sent through OpenRouter to an embedding provider if that model is unavailable or for a quality-check sample. Wildroot does not save query text to disk.
