I’m an author. Of course I want you to read my books… …and never, ever, ever tell me that you’re reading them. 😆 #WriteSky

#Sniptober 9 Things are getting a little heated but this snip is still SFW (stuff afterwards is most definitely not tho! 👀) From much later in Philosopher Queens, my rock romance/drama serial. 🎸❤️

#LgbtqWriteathon #queerwriters #writingcommunity #lgbtqwriters #WritingPrompt #WritingQ My MC, Bethany, starts out hiding the fact, or at least denying, that she's "abnormal" (autistic & bisexual) Her Hollywood famous biological parents, in later years, try to hide that they were Nazi sympathizers

#WeeknightWriters I do a bit of both honestly, some characters like Efa already had her story, while Scyen was needed to balance out her story, and Layla slide in like she was always meant to be there. These three characters are all tried to edit each other out, but that’s just how siblings are.

#WeeknightWriters A1: Characters, story, characters. I write between one and four characters with some kind of dynamic between them. Then I put them in a situation, and pad out with other characters as needed.
My submission for this week’s #PoemsAbout #Bite. With thanks to @thebrokenspine.co.uk Will catch up later. Thanks for reading 🙏 #Oulens #poetry #micropoetry #poetrycommunity #BlueskyPoetry#writingcommunity

#WeeknightWriters Motivation. It's often the last thing I decide on. It's not hard to figure out, I just get too busy chasing dopamine to remember I don't know that part. Then I hit a wall, struggle with the story, and then go "oh. Right." I'm getting better though! 😅

She’s saucy, autistic, and disabled. She’s over fifty. She’s sweary. She’s dressed like a hen at a hen party. Now she’s found herself in the meet-awkward of the 25th century at Coq of the Walk with Captain Josh “Hot Wings” Speers. books2read.com/hot-wings-and-sauciness #SpoonieAuthChat #BookSky

#WeeknightWriters A4 I'll borrow a sentiment from @jessmahler.bsky.social Character descriptions! Too often, this is the last thing I do, so my characters are usually "vaguely people shaped." Turns out there are readers who don't like that.

#WeeknightWriters A5: The Town of Alderwick doesn’t have a main character per say but the town just wants to be a normal small town with normal issues instead of reality breaking issues
Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
