  1. I am working nonstop on my daughter’s costume for Comic Con, and learning lots (of mistakes) about making costumes! I did manage to finish the baby blanket that I was crocheting but I still have a private commission to burn & crochet critters to make for the trick-or-treaters. Send tea!

There’s been another six minutes since 10-men Spurs equalised. United haven’t managed a chance. They’ve had loads of these weird patterns in this banter era, this inability to play against 10 the latest

a pervert isn’t just “man who objectifies you” sometimes that’s a part of it but most often it’s a pattern of behavior that i realize can’t be established in 90 seconds but it’s always kind of hokey when i see it

  4. Inquiry by the DOJ is a profound escalation of the Trump admin’s ongoing battles with the WH press corps. It also follows a pattern of the Trump admin using the levers of government against its perceived foes in the media. The DOJ has subpoenaed reporters from NYT and seized a laptop from WaPo journ

  6. Weird usage patterns for my little Chrome extension. Normally, about 1000 users, slowly growing. But then, spikes. And suddenly 12k "users". Are all these bot swarms, that want to scrape specifically IMDb trivia without writing their own code... The same extension in Firefox is steady at ~250 users. If you have a Chrome extension, do you see similar patterns? #webdev #ChromeExtension #chrome

  8. Yes. A technology will get used predominantly in certain ways determined by its core functionality. You could use a microwave as a foot rest, but it is mostly going to be used for microwaving. You could do (very few) useful things with an LLM, but it is mostly going to be used for spam & plagiarism.

#BirdOfTheDay today theme is #Green. White-eyed vireo with its mossy colored plumage blends in nicely on moss covered branches when viewed from above. They are challenging to photograph as they are small, hyperactive, and like to hang out in very poor lighting in dense wooded areas.

  10. That has been the pattern, pig-cycle, for decades. Republicans mess things up, at an ever increasing rate & magnitude, for Democrats to clean up. Problem in the last cycle, and many before, is that those Democrats never really cleaning things up, at least never to the point it got pardon-proof.

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
