The competition for passkeys increasingly is not username + password (where a password manager makes that UX about as seamless as a passkey login) but username + password + inconveniently-delivered two-factor authentication code (where the passkey UX is soooo much better). (gift link)

OK group filtering can get crazy in #fastmail. Say you already have filters set up that automatically place emails to a label based on some arcane filter. You can use THAT filter to do grouping too. 🤯

It seems primarily email servers using Microsoft are outright blocking. Still gotta work on setting up a new relay but if you are or you know someone trying to sign up using a gmail or other email provider can work! Or send a email to admin@bark.lgbt to have your account manually verified for the time being ^^

Oh no... Filtering in #fastmail is like catnip for me. This group thing... I am going to make doom from inbox filters. 🤣 fastmail.com/blog/grouped-mail…

Search looks through the last 36 hours of public posts for your words, "exact phrases", #hashtags, @handles and websites, and also finds posts about the same thing by meaning. New posts join about every 10 minutes. We only include posts whose authors allow logged-out viewing (Bluesky) or search (Mastodon, indexable accounts), and we re-check Bluesky authors each time we show a page. Likes and follower counts never decide the order. For meaning matches, query text is turned into a fingerprint on Wildroot’s own server (EmbeddingGemma-300M); it is never sent to another service. Wildroot does not save query text to disk. Looking for posts like one you have? Similar posts. How to opt out.
